Here are a few simple rules and guidelines that will make everyone's experience on this site much easier. Please read them....
One.There are some areas of this forum that I have chosen to make available only to members. This will protect their work as well as their personal information such as introductions. You can however view the Poem of the Week,Poems by Known Artists, and Poems by Other Poets to get a bit of an idea as to what is offered here at the Poetry Pallace.
Two. Anything of offensive nature, upon either Poet Lady Rose's or my own reading, will be removed. You will be warned upon the removal and should it happen again banned from the site. If you question if something falls into this type of writing please send the poem to either Me or Poet Lady Rose for review before posting it to the site.Offensive materials include, but are not limited to, racial downputting, vulgar laguage, and name callings.
Three. All authors retain the rights to their own works. Anyone wishing to use any work from this site must get permission from the author before use.
Four. All types of poetry is allowed and completely encouraged.
Five. Please try to be unoffensive and helpful to other members. Any feedback should be your honest opinion in a constructive way. Example instead of hey dummy you have a typo try, Your work is good but I did find a few typos upon reading then point out what they were.
Six. All works by another author MUST be submitted as that author's work. For example, one posts, "The Raven," by Edgar Allan Poe. The poet's name, Edgar Allan Poe, should appear somewhere in that post.
Seven:Please report anything that you might feel is considered vulgar or offensive to one of the Moderators. Once traffic increases there may be too many for us to read every one so your help will keep the site the fun posting environment it is intended to be.
Eight:To get to know members a bit better why don't you head on over and introduce yourself in the Introductions. This will let you see what other members have posted about themselves as well as let you introduce yourself to them.
